Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The worldwide mission of Kiwanis is to serve children, and the focus of many service projects and fund-raising activities our Club undertakes is to support local and international organizations that directly serve children. Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Members stage approximately 150,000 service projects and raise nearly US$100 million every year for communities, families and projects. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.
We meet weekly on Wednesday mornings at 7:15 AM at Los Robles Greens Clubhouse (North Ballroom)
Join us on October 9, 2025, for the inaugural Kiwanis Corks and Kegs. This premier event is the exciting evolution of The Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Charitable Foundation annual charity fundraiser, merging two of our most successful events—Conejo Uncorked and TO BrewFest.
Held on Thanksgiving Day, the 5K road race or the Zack Zernik mile (run/walk) at CLU in Thousand Oaks. Proceeds from the event will benefit local youth - Southeast Ventura County YMCA, Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks and Conejo Valley Boy Scout Troops.
The Relay For Life movement is dedicated to helping communities attack cancer. Through funds donated, time given, or awareness raised, our communities are teaming up - virtually or in person - to make a difference.
We provide bikes and safety equipment (helmets and locks) for at-risk youths in the local community to help give them a mode of transportation to get to and from school, activities and part-time jobs.
Kiwanis empowers people at every stage of life to become competent, capable and compassionate leaders by giving them the opportunity to help others. Through its Service Leadership Programs (K-Kids, Builder's Club, Key Club, KIWIN's, Circle K and Key Leader Camp), Kiwanis teaches young leaders new ways to change the world by serving one child and one community at a time.
From education to healthcare, The Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks offers a variety of scholarship programs to support the community.
