2026 Scholarships
Connolly Family Scholarship
A Kiwanis Connolly Family Scholarships will be awarded to one (1) graduating student from Conejo Valley High School (CVHS) who is part of the first generation in their family to attend college. The awardee will receive a one-year scholarship of $1000.
Cliff Hyink Wood Working Scholarship
This scholarship is available for Thousand Oaks High School graduating students in the Wood Classes who will enroll in a 2 or 4-year college/university or vocational school immediately after high school graduation. Two $1000 one-year scholarships are available. Students enrolled in the Wood Program at TOHS are highly encouraged to apply for this scholarship.
STEM Scholarship
One (1) STEM Scholarships will be awarded to graduating students from Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake, Oak Park, Agoura or Century Academy High Schools who intend to pursue a field of study in a math or sciences related subject. The awardee will receive a one-year scholarship of $1,000. Particular attention is paid to students demonstrating financial need. Family income and the first generation to attend higher learning are a consideration.
Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Scholarship
Three or more Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Scholarships for $1,000.00 each will be awarded this year to graduating seniors from one of these high schools: Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Agoura, Westlake, and Century Academy. This is a one-year scholarship of $1,000.
Note: Special emphasis will be given to a student’s volunteering or community service activities. Particular attention is paid to students demonstrating financial need. Family income and the first generation to attend higher learning are a consideration.
Gwen Wagner Huffer Memorial Healthcare Scholarship
The Gwen Wagner Huffer Memorial Healthcare Scholarship will be awarded to two female graduating students from Thousand Oaks High School who intend to pursue a career in the healthcare field, starting in the fall of 2026. Two one-year scholarship awards of $1,000 each
will be given.
First Responder Scholarship Application
On behalf of The Engler and Rudman families, Two (2) First Responder Scholarships for $1,000.00 each will be awarded this year to graduating seniors from one of these high schools: Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park,
Oak Park, Agoura, Westlake, and Century Academy. This is a one-year scholarship of $1,000. Note: Special emphasis will be given to a student’s volunteering or community service activities. Particular attention is paid to students demonstrating financial need and those applicants considering careers as First Responders.
Kelli & Austin Sincock Scholarship for the Arts
The Kelli & Austin Sincock Scholarship for the Arts is offered through the Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Charitable Foundation. We are happy to announce that we will be offering five (5) individual scholarships of $1,000 each. Each scholarship will be awarded to graduating students from
Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake, Oak Park, Agoura or Century Academy High Schools who intend to pursue a field of study starting in Fall, 2026 in the Arts, including: Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Dance & Choreography, Music Production, TV & Theater Production, and Culinary Arts in the Fall of 2026.
Kiwanis Key Club Scholarship Application
Two or more $1000 Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Key Club Member Scholarship awards will be given to graduating students from Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake, Oak Park, Agoura or Century Academy High Schools who intend to enroll in a two or four year college, university or technical school in the fall of 2026. The scholarship is open to students who have been active in their school’s Key Club. Each awardee will receive a one-year scholarship of $1,000.
Note: Particular attention is paid to students demonstrating financial need: family income and first generation to attend higher learning are a consideration. Essay should include applicants' community service activities which are considered paramount in choosing a winner.
